Oddity is a contemporary design studio creating collectible, non-functional objects that exist without the pressure of purpose. Positioned between sculpture and material exploration, the practice challenges the expectation that objects must justify themselves through utility, instead celebrating presence, curiosity, and delight of form.

Each piece is intentionally "useless," shifting value from function to experience, materiality, and meaning.

Founded on the belief that not everything needs to be useful to hold value, Oddity exists in the space between sculpture and play.

THE ODD BRAINS

BEHIND ODDITY

Two women are standing and talking in a room with a textured wall and large artwork in the background. One woman is holding a small object, and they are smiling at each other.

Two people who met over a shared curiosity, spent years apart building their own practices, and then did something slightly irrational — they started making beautiful, useless things together.

Navya brings colour, texture, and a deep literacy in craft. Gazal brings a decade of brand and product thinking. Oddity is where those two sensibilities collide: intentional, a little strange, and entirely uninterested in justifying itself.
